Zach and Logan got up very early the next day. They ran into each other in the living room. When Zach met Logan’s eyes, he grinned at Logan, “You seem refreshed. Got lucky last night?”

“You should say that to yourself.” Logan flicked a glance at him. He walked past him and made two cups of coffee. Then he gave one to Zach.

“I thought you had made Anna Lee disappear. Why did she turn up again?”
