Colin smiled, his hands on the steering wheel. "If we told her, I'm afraid Violet would pack up and run

away immediately."

Faye didn't know what was going on between Ethan and Violet.

long way to get Violet back."

Colin took Faye's hand and held it tightly. "Anyway, it will not be as long as that I had gone.

Faye's heart was softened, and she entwined her fingers with his. "Yes, you had gone a long way."

Colin raised Faye's hand, kissed it, and said confidently, "It's true. I had gone the longest."

When Colin and Faye arrived at the airport, Ethan was already there.

mother-in-law?"

Ethan said, "I'm even not sure whether she would like to see me."

Ethan smiled helplessly. "Saylor said that Violet's father would break my leg if I appeared in Lespurg."

Colin chuckled. "So ruthless?"

Ethan explained, "Her father doesn't want Violet to marry a man in another city."

Colin originally wanted to ridicule Ethan, but after hearing that, he stretched out his hand and patted

Ethan's shoulder.

"Men propose but God disposes."

Ethan smiled. "Why didn't you say that to yourself a few years ago?"

Colin said with a serious expression, "How do you know that I didn't say that?"

Colin paused and showed off. "But God has fixed me up with Faye."

Ethan was speechless, thinking, "What a hurtful friend."

From Cocanel to Lespurg, it took almost two and a half hours by plane.

Not long after the plane took off, Faye fell asleep, leaning on Colin's shoulder.

In case she would fall from his shoulder when the plane was tossed up, Colin supported her chin and

kissed her forehead.

Ethan was only one aisle away from the two of them.

Ethan had wanted to consult him about how to get Violet back, but after observing Colin for a few

minutes, Ethan closed his eyes.
