“We’re not leaving the vineyards,” Nirvana told him truthfully, confusing him. Then she told him the shorter version, “Cyrius is after this area. This is the center of the source of any witch or warlock power.”

“Fascinating. You have all the resources from the council, but I will have people to work with you. They could be-”

“Cold, distant, ruthless? I think I just met one. We can deal with someone like him.”

“Good, but you know what you are signing up for, Nirvana.”
